Jessica has developed a diversified therapeutic practice that utilizes a combination of evidence-based modern psychotherapy with the wisdom of traditional and complementary holistic mental health practices. Jessica believes there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. She provides a safe, non-judgmental and culturally sensitive setting for clients to feel comfortable to work collaboratively during sessions. Her work is guided by the belief that this integrative approach to therapy helps her clients meet their goals toward healing, renewed perspective and purpose.
Jessica's therapeutic style is rooted in modern psychotherapies that include: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-centered Therapy, Somatic Therapy, Strengths-based Therapy, Stress Reduction Therapy, Trauma-informed therapy and Mindfulness-based therapy. Jessica also frequently incorporates psychoeducation and the practice of breathwork, meditation and Emotional Freedom Technique (Tapping) among other stress reduction techniques into therapy sessions.
